Webmaster

A person responsible for the day to day dealings with a website.

Among his/her tasks are:

Answering email directed at the website. Or passing through email to people who know about the subject.
Solving bugs. Or passing on bugs to responsible persons.
Keeping track on statistics. Or at least interpreting them.
Tracking uptime of the server.
Guarding quality of content.
Placing content online, if there's no distributed content management system.
Keeping track of abuse. Employing the sites policy. (?)
