Guess I’ll have to download the entire updated 1.5.0.1 package. Oh well… better than an endless download/update loop. π
Update: Well, it seems that the update also failed on my WinXP box. π
Update 2: If you’ve found that your automatic update to Firefox 1.5.0.1 went less than ideal, go visit Mike Beltzner’s blog. He’s collection user-experiences of the update process. One Five OH! One: was it good for you? He’d probably wants to hear some success stories too.
Auto update to 2.0.0.1 from 2.0 didn’t work for me. “Failed to verify integrity”.
I’m on Win2000 behind a proxy server.
Download of the complete package also failed (most likely blocked by proxy).
Trying to do some kinda manual update.
Successfully performed a manual update from 2.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.1 from the Mozilla ARchive (.MAR) file.
